Chairman's Welcome

On January 1, 2000, Realt na Mara GAA Club launches its web site (www.cromane.com) to serve both its local and emigrant community.  This project is one of the Millenium projects being undertaken by our progressive and vibrant club. 

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to this web site, the first for a football club in the Kingdom of Kerry.  I hope you enjoy your visit and will revisit for updates on the club and community throughout the year.  It is also our intention to publish our club lotto results on the site.  This will give supporters and friends living away from the area an opportunity to support the activities of the club.

The next few years will see significant developments within the club.  We plan to develop a stand and dug-out facilities to complement the magnificent work that has taken place on the field itself over the last few years.  This year we will again field a second senior team in county and district competitions.  Our juvenile teams go from strength to strength and I hope that our senior team will follow through on the excellent progress of the last few years and gain promotion in the county league.

The club is currently strong and vibrant.  However, it is only with you, our supporters, friends, parents and sponsors that we can maintain this momentum.  Thank you for you continued support and we look forward to working with you for the benefit of our club and community over the next season.
